Land Rover Discovery 3 Off Road Preparation
To ensure a great off-road experience your vehicle should be prepared for anything. A client brought in this Land Rover Discovery 3 for some off-road prep so they could fully enjoy the green lane and off-roading opportunities available in the UK.
As owners and drivers of Land Rovers our team is experienced in off-roading – it is our passion, which is why we always enjoy preparing a vehicle for adventure. Before embarking on any tour, we advise that your 4×4 has been serviced and is in good working order, the last thing you want is for your trip to be cut short due to a minor issue that could easily have been resolved at the workshop.
The Land Rover Discovery 3 was voted ‘Car of The Year’ in 2005 by What Car, and was touted as being as capable as the Range Rover but with a more refined on-road drive. For this Discovery, the client wanted to be prepared for a full all terrain experience, so we added the following modifications:
Snorkel fitted- Terrafirma winch fitted with isolator
- Light guards front and rear
- LED light bar
- Raised suspension for more ground clearance
- Oil and filter and a 28 point check
- New front disks and pads
- New rear brake callipers and pads clean and re-adjust inboard handbrake shoes
- New centre prop shaft bearing
