Land Rover Discovery - Non-Starter
An update on the Discovery Sport that was experiencing non-starting issues: Utilising our dealer-level software, it became evident that the fuel pump control module was delivering a weak signal to the PCM (Powertrain Control Module).
Upon investigating and locating the fuel pump control module, we discovered it situated in a less than ideal spot—tucked away in the passenger side rear wheel arch. This location subjects it to a barrage of road debris and water, hardly an optimal setting for such a crucial component.
Moving forward, we installed a new fuel pump control module and calibrated it specifically to the vehicle. Following this update, the Discovery Sport is now starting and driving smoothly, free from previous issues.
