Restoration and Repair of Range Rover Classic 2-Door
At Bentley Auto Centre, we recently had the privilege of restoring a Range Rover Classic 2-Door, which was experiencing rough running issues. Our initial diagnosis revealed that the vehicle had been fitted with incorrect spark plugs by a previous garage, an error that significantly affected its performance.
After replacing the spark plugs with the correct ones, there was an immediate improvement in how the vehicle ran, though it was not yet perfect. Further investigations led us to conclude that a more comprehensive approach was needed. We decided that the vehicle required a detailed disassembly to thoroughly clean, strip, and reset various components, particularly focusing on the fuel system.
The state of the fuel bowl was a clear indicator of the neglect suffered. It was filled with residues and contaminants that had likely been affecting the vehicle's performance for some time. Our skilled technicians took meticulous care to clean each part, ensuring that nothing was overlooked in restoring the vehicle to its optimal condition.
Post-restoration, the Range Rover Classic not only ran smoothly but also regained much of its original charm and efficiency.
